Using e-cigarettes (vaping) can have the same effect on your oral health as any other type of tobacco use. Just like smoking, vaping exposes your mouth to both nicotine and hot vapors that immediately affect your mouth's soft tissues, jawbones, lips, and throat.


Dental veneers (sometimes called laminates) are tooth-colored ceramic or composite resin material bonded to the visible surfaces of teeth to improve their appearance by changing their color, shape, or size. There are two types: indirect veneers that are produced in a dental lab from molds of your teeth and placed at a second appointment, and direct veneers that are applied directly onto your teeth by your dentist typically in one visit.
